I bought a door stopper for my van a really long time ago and finally got it installed!

I’ve wanted one of these for a while because they allow you to open the door halfway and let some light/air in even if you’re parked on a hill. I got it from the blog Traipsing About, it was only $45 (with tax and shipping) and took about 20 minutes to install.

Step 1: Figure out how open you want the door to be.

Step 2: Make a mark on the outer door track with a sharpie

Step 3: Scotch bright the area with the little pad they supply you with

Step 4: Wipe it down with alcohol swabs

Step 5: Mix together the JB weld and rub it on the door stopper

Step 6: Place it down and don’t open that door for 24 hours!

That was the most difficult step for me. I pretty much exclusively go in and out my side door, so I had to get used to going in the passengers side door.

Anyway, it was super easy and I really like this tiny addition to my van. I would recommend it to anyone who frequently parks on a hill!

Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll see you next time! <3
